Based in Charlotte, N.C., Duke Energy is the largest electric utility in the United States. It serves retail customers in six states.

Nuvation Energy

Nuvation provides battery management systems (BMS) for grid-scale energy storage platforms, telecommunications power backup systems, specialty vehicles and mobile robots. They are a North American product realization company that performs all aspects of electronic product development, from initial concept and design through to volume production. In business since 1997, they have completed over 800 projects in hardware design and embedded software engineering and four generations of BMS designs.

Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) is the nation’s-sixth largest community-owned electric service provider, serving over 620,000 electric customers. SMUD is a recognized industry leader and award winner for its innovative energy efficiency programs, renewable power technologies, and for its sustainable solutions for a healthier environment. SMUD is the first large California utility to receive more than 20 percent of its energy from renewable resources.

Snohomish County PUD

Snohomish County Public Utility District is the second largest publicly owned utility in Washington, serving over 320,000 electric customers and 20,000 water customers. Their service territory covers over 2,200 square miles, including all of Snohomish County and Camano Island.

Salt River Project

Salt River Project (SRP) is a community-based, not-for-profit public power utility and the largest provider of electricity in the greater Phoenix metropolitan area, serving more than 1 million customers. SRP is also the metropolitan area’s largest supplier of water, delivering about 800,000 acre-feet annually to municipal, urban and agricultural water users.
